All over the state of Utah, residents of Salt Lake City apartments as well as homeowners are flying their flags in honor of Independence Day.
When Harry Cross was asked why he flies the flag he replied, “Do we need a reason to fly the flag any day of the year? We ought to be patriotic enough to fly it every day. Not all of us do but, at least, in our hearts we fly a flag every day.”

“I want to remember my son who is serving with the Marines right now and just keep him in our heart and our prayers so he can come home safely soon,” said a teary eyed Cross.
